About the Author
Tampa Oral Surgeon Dr. Ted Grellner, as a college student, endured a bad experience with a wisdom tooth. Little did he know then, that he would be devoting a career in dentistry to finding multiple ways to improve the dental and oral surgery experiences so his patients could avoid what he suffered through. While part of the solution was realizing the importance of correctly timing wisdom tooth removal to make it a much more pleasant experience, another was developing a quick recovery IV general anesthesia technique that was both pleasant and safe. For lost or missing teeth, he has incorporated advanced computer technology into the process of replacing them with dental implants. He has 30 years of experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMFS) in the USAF, USAF Reserves, and private practice. He is also a Courtesy Clinical Assistant Professor in the Dept. of OMFS at Univ. of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville, Florida. He has appeared on ABC, FOX and NBC stations to share his dental expertise.

Excellent information about our teeth

This was a very insightful book and it helped me look at my teeth with a different perspective. I never knew the importance of good dental hygiene until Dr. Grellner explained it in an insightful manner so you don't fear your visits with the dentist. Taking care of what goes on in your mouth can save you money and your physical health as well. The secrets he divulges are insightful as well as educational. I definitely give this a high recommendation based on how informative it is

A must read for all. Parents should read this to your children or have their kids read this. The only thing not mentioned here is what illegal drugs like cocaine, meth or heroin does to your teeth that I think needs to be addressed to the public. A great read for all.

This is a very bad way to learn executive protection! The author is a poor writer and does not seem to understand the difference between a 1-2 man detail in the private sector compared to the dozens involved in the Secret Service.

A Wonderful Resource

The book was much more than I expected. Wonderful color photos, and great shows of history. The imagery from the descriptions helps understand the eras being covered.

Very few write about arcades in the early 19th century, and The author fills in multiple holes. Imagining an arcade with real guns, fat ladies, and dispensing machines grabs my imagination. Seeing how the machines began, and moved forward is a fascinating look at history.

Fun insight into beloved characters

This was a fun insight into the characters of Hannah and Chris before "Summer Circuit". I loved revisiting the characters and laughing at Hannah when she expressed such horror at the thought of having to actually look after her own horse! I really hope we get to see more of Mike in the upcoming third book in the Show Circuit series - he's my favourite :)

Prequel short story - not to be missed!

I have come to really want more short stories in my life. For some reason, Kim Ablon Whitney and I seem to be on the same page. Hannah & Chris: Before the Circuit is a prequel to the first book in the series, Summer Circuit. It’s the older YA/New Adult horse book I wasn’t aware I wanted, but now really want more of–so happily Kim is providing me my fix. Thanks, Kim!

Before the Circuit is a lovely short story set in two parts that explain how Hannah and Chris come to be at the Vermont show in Summer Circuit. In the first part, we have Hannah. Hannah is over-privileged, unsure of how to do the simple things like tack up her problem horse, Logan. Riding is becoming a chore that serves only to get Hannah out of the house, since she’s not skilled enough to figure out how to get through to Logan, and no one at the barn is interested in seeing her succeed. Hannah is facing down an aimless summer before college, but her dad has other plans. The show circuit. Vermont. Without a groom. Hannah balks, but she’s also standing on the edge of becoming just like her mom–friendless, a shut-in from the world–and if she doesn’t take on her dad’s challenge, how will she escape that fate?

Chris is Hannah’s polar opposite. Instead of not having anything to do, he potentially has too much. There are too many people, too many horses, too many responsibilities that can easily go wrong. His best horse doesn’t feel right, and the owner of that horse is impossible to talk sense into. Then there’s his ex-girlfriend, who wants to get back together. Maybe Chris wants that…but maybe not. Chris is on the verge of change, whether he likes it or not. Something’s going to happen, and it’s going to happen in Vermont.

Kim sets the stage for Summer Circuit so well in Before the Circuit. I especially loved getting into Chris’s head, seeing his side of the story for a change. I hope there will be more snippets and stories in between Summer Circuit and the second book in the series, Winter Circuit. There can never be enough short stories!

It's such a clever idea to do a prequel for books that have already won readers' hearts--I loved learning about the backstory of these characters and this short story provided a great deal of insight about where they were psychologically at the beginning of Summer Circuit.

Brilliant second book in the series

This story continues where the last book ended. Ella, having successfully planned her bosses Christmas party, is on cloud nine. She can't believe she did it, but she's proud nonetheless. Never in her dreams did she think she could gain two things she's always wanted: her dream job, and a man who treats her like she's priceless. In this book Will finally tells, or shows, Ella how he feels about her, but she resists him.

Will, a rich, powerful, and successful man never thought he would hear a woman tell him 'no'. Especially not the woman who he's been obsessed with for months. He still wants her, but he knows it's going to take time and work to make her his. But when he finally gets her in his hands, he's prepared to show her how big a mistake she made when she walked out on him that day.

This was a great second part to the series. I love Ella's character, how she takes such pride in her job and how she always thinks of others over herself. Will, her boss, is amazing, yet, really cocky! There's times I couldn't stand his attitude and his God complex, but somehow, it works in this book and for his character. I'm never mad at his character for too long!

I recommend this book to everyone! This series does have to be read in order.

He really knows how to touch. A must hot read!

I was gifted this copy for an honest review.

I would strongly suggest that you get all 5 books at once. If you are anything like me, you hate cliffhangers. I try really, really hard not to start a series without it being complete. This series is worth the money in my opinion.

We pick up where we left off in the first book. The Christmas party was a huge hit and Ella could not be more pleased. Now in Touched by the Boss, Will takes Ella to another Gala where his a benefactor. She gets to borrow a designer gown and Will surprises her with loaned diamonds. After a tug of war with her heart, mind and body Ella finally decides to let her self give in to Will. The sex scene in this book will melt your panties. I am off to find out what happens next with Will and Ella in Teased by the Boss. You should too.

Enjoyable, witty second installment in this series.

Enjoyed this second book in the series. As with the first book, the dialogue is as always witty and entertaining. As Will and Ella continue to circle each other, there's obvious sexual tension that builds between them, culminating in a deliciously steamy love scene that leaves the reader curious about how this new level of intimacy will affect their personal and professional lives. My only complaint? We need more Emily, please!!
