Accepting the Jaguar(Riverford Shifters #2) by Cristina Rayne
Kylie is shattered by Hunter's reaction to her secret, albeit one she was expecting. In a state of panic she calls Paul in distress, he rushes to get to her. They decide their only option is to leave and quickly. But their plans are interrupted and brought to a halt.
Finding out Kylie is a Deadend is devastating for Hunter. His outraged and the hatred he feels towards her at that moment is too much and he turns his back on her, not giving her a chance to explain. He goes to his friend to talk things through, and discovers he might have acted in haste. He rushes to see if he can find Kylie and realises he might be too late.
Things are much more complex than just Hunter and Kylie. There problems are very complex. They have massive problems on a colossal scale and it will take their friends and family, and surrounding clans to bring down their one mutual enemy.
OMW this book was absolutely fantastic. The authors style of writing is expressive and descriptive which made this book so much more amazing. The characters were strong, fascinating and really sweet. Hunter and Kylie have an intense connection which came across in this book perfectly and a real passion and urgency between them. This author has a very interesting and creative take on shifters, it was different and very enjoyable. The attention to detail was perfect, which made this book so much more enjoyable for me. This book was full of surprises and very entertaining. Incredible addition to this series.(This is part of a series and should be read in order)!

Action packed parnormal romance!

Hunter now knew what Kylie was. His rejection hurt but she knew she had to run and Paul was going too. They had to go far away to out run this trouble. Only things didn't work out the way they planned. Trouble found them but also hope. Hope that brought with it dreams and possibilities.
This is truly an action packed romance with a roll-a-coaster ride of emotions. The characters are amazing and have depth to them and I connected right away. Once I started reading I didn't want to stop!
It's a must read for all us shifter fans and it's at the top of my list of favorites
You will not be disappointed.

This is book 2 of the Riverford Shifters and the second part of the serial. Has a cliffhanger but not a bad one.
The mystery of the missing shifters is solved and Kylie's big secret comes in handy. Though her secret is still only known to a few, others are starting to wonder and put two and two together.
It appears there is someone close who is not trust worthy. Kylie and Hunter have an idea, but proving things is not easy.
Some mysteries are solved, but other have yet to be figured out. Are friends really friends or something else?
